At the center of his world is Charlotte, a young woman everyone around her wants a piece of. As their lives blur between the real and the surreal, Levi’s search for something to believe in turns into a reckoning with what he and everyone else have taken from her. A story about temptation, hunger, and the question at its center: what do you think God is?

Kyle Kenneth West is an American writer and director. His work centers on intimate, character-driven stories that explore desire, guilt, and moral collapse through a modern mythic lens. Working at the intersection of American realism and surrealism, his films pair naturalistic performances with dreamlike imagery and visual symbolism rather than exposition.
West wrote, directed, and produced South of Stillwater, his debut feature.
